We’ve worked with the best climate experts in the biz, to build a comprehensive carbon measurement system and smart AI that does the hard work for us.

And because we’ve got some serious data nerds working with us at Greener, we’ve analysed the end-to-end carbon emissions for everything we buy everyday.

From farm to fork, cotton to closet, factory to your front door (you get the pic), we know how much CO₂ is emitted on average for every dollar we spend. 

For example, for every dollar spent on clothing 253g of CO₂ is emitted on average, and for every dollar spent on groceries 310g CO₂ is emitted.

So by linking your accounts to Greener, we can see what you’re buying and which businesses you’re buying from. Then we add up all the emissions to calculate your individual carbon footprint.

We’ve even calculated the benefits that lifestyle choices (like being vegan or using solar power at home) have on reducing your emissions, and adjust your footprint accordingly.

And it’s all underpinned by the same data used by the UN’s International Resource Panel to shape the Sustainable Development Goals
